It is no easy chore to retorque EVO cylinder heads. For Evo rocker box to head sealing I prefer Cometic stamped steel w/copper spray or Jim's "print-o-seal" dry. 5/16 rockers cover bolts.Ĭase sealer (like yamabond) is for metal to metal sealing(no gaskets). Head bolts on evos = 42.ġ/4 20 grade 5 into cast aluminum 90-120.ħ/16 pillow block bolts as tight as you can w/ a box end wrench.
